A year finished I really can’t believe this.. this year passed too fast that I can still remember our first day of school, we met with Mr Gultekin first and she will always be our first teacher of university (: now I have to say goodbye to you however I hope we will meet in the following year so thanx to you for everything and thanx to Mr Gultekin for her efforts for us..

Another weeked passed, too.. on our Monday class, we worked on ‘diary of adam’ I really loved it I have always loved such kind of stories.. on our Thursday class, after our lesson we went to listen to Mr anderson but we had to leave early because of our concert. 23 april holiday hallelujah! (: this week passed really fast. In our wrting class our teacher sperated us as groups then we wrote essays about 99’ eratquake. We did well so our teacher loves them and she appreciated our efforts and we are really glad (: (: in our reading class we learned many new informations about ‘adolescence’ furthermore we had 2 exams, too. This week was really enjoyable for me, we learned many useful informations about our english accents in reading class, so from now onthen we will use Turk-english accent (:
Moreover in our writing class we wrote essay about friendship as group. I think we made a wrong desicion about writing a relationship essay so we couldn’t do well and I’m sorry about it :S next week we will have listening and grammar exams so we are all scared I hope we do well.

PAMUKKALE-ERCIYES LINE

Here are two different cities where I had chance to live in them. One of them is, with its white paradise Pamukkale; Denizli, the other one is, with its supreme mountain Erciyes; Kayseri. When you look at the whole picture, you will see huge differences but at the same time you will see perfect similarities between these two mystical cities.
Denizli and Kayseri are really far from each other but they have amazing similarities. First, both cities are touristic places. In summers Denizli, in winters Kayseri turn to a holiday paradise for tourists who love water and snow. People from the other countries, who have knowledge about Pamukkale’s ‘beautify water’ come to Denizli to see this world’s 8. wonder alive. Also tourists join ‘winter feast’ in Erciyes and they challenge with many talented skier. The second thing Denizli has a growing industry just like Kayseri. Kayseri’s logistics, which connects south and west, helps to improve Kayseri’s furniture industry. Also with its growing textile industry, Denizli goes after Kayseri. Next; as Denizli public, Kayseri public is so genial and cheerful. Besides, denizli people are known with their enterprising and also Kayseri people are famous for their incisiveness.
Even with their similarities, there are appreciable differances between each other. The first thing, in both places there are many social areas where you can enjoy yourselves. However thanks to its bigger acreage, Kayseri has more central parks than Denizli. While Denizli has limited shopping centres and amusement park, in Kayseri you can find many places to go and enjoy. The next thing is climate. Because of the different areas where two cities are located, climates of these cities are very different from each other. Kayseri has a harsh climate which brings snow and cold even in spring. In contrast of Kayseri, Denzli has moderate weather. Moreover with the help of its wide roads and tram, Kayseri’s traffic is fluent but I can’t say the same thing for my hometown Denizli, unfortunately. Recently, because of the road constructions in Denizli, traffic is becoming worse and worse for people.
Wherever I go I miss two cities. It’s unbelievable that my heart beats for two different places at the same time. I fell in love with not only their modern city life but also historical and mystic side of their face. When I want to relieve myself, I take a deep breath and let these two cities’ dream to surround me.

wooww holiday week! (: this week I went to nazilli near by my elder sister. then we went to izmir and aydın together for shopping. when we went to izmir we directly went near by sea cause i love sea so much unfortunately in denizli there is no sea. (: we walked for hours and it was really tiring for both of us but we bought many beautiful things so it worthed that..in holiday I slept, watched many movies and read Empati by Adam Fawer it was a perfect book. so my holiday passed well i hope yours were good also.

this week was our presentation week. teenage pregnancy was our topic we made research for hours, learned many things. useful topics were chosen for us and we tried to made them more beneficial for our class. each presentations were totally great and I congradulate my all classmates. friday was freeday so we went to camlık with our friends it was really enjoyabe (: moreover we learned cause and effenct essay and we had a homework, I hope our teacher likes our essays..

5.th and 6.th week's post (:

our 6th week was our midterm week and it was exhousted for all of us. from 5th week we started to study cause we all wanted to have high grades. even in weekend we never stopped to studying. my exams passed good i hope results are good also(: friday was our relaxing day on our class with teacher Rebecca we watched shrek 2 it was really funny (: this weekend i walked in forest, went shopping and enjoyed myself with my elder sister. after exams it was good for me. hope you had a great weekend, too.

Lately post

This week was our first midterm exam's week. we all studied hard and expect good grades and we hope that results wont suprise us (: at the end ef the week we were all tired and Ms. Anderson's class we watched shrek 2 it was really funny and made all of us relax just a little bit. its story was about the same of teacher Gülsen's class topic; fairytales, and shrek ruins all streotype fairytales. this week was exhousting for each student but with the hope of eating its sweet fruit we endure this hard times.

ReflectioNs about pReseNtatiONs

Up to now we have done so many things in our writing class but I think this weeks presentations were one of the most effective kind of experince for all of us. Each of us did our bests and try to present interesting things about ancient civilizations' crime and punishments. Our topic was Ancient Roman and Greece. That was the subject which I wanted to prepare on because I really keen on ancient roma. after these works my curiosity grew about ancient times. However there were some faults in our pronunciation but in time we'll be better. I enjoyed watching my classmate's presentations, also. thank you all.

3th week's post ;)

this week was really tiring for us. we had presentations about Ancient roma and greece laws. at first I thought that it would be really difficult for us but when we started to study on it we saw that the subject was really interesting so we liked to do that. besides we had a vacation for one day our teacher Ms Fulden didnt come to the lesson so that we could do sth for ourselves (: hope to see you in the next post ;)

THRILLER

I must confess i didn’t like Coco but Susan and Joy were acting so lovely throughout her that i understood, i had to learn how to live with her. One day Coco and i were in the garden. Susan and Joy were inside the house, they were trying to do Susan’s complicated homework. In the garden, Coco was trying to play with me but i choose to play alone. I didn’t need her to have fun. The garden was big and there were colourful toys for me to play. I started to chase the little, red ball. Suddenly i realised that the garden door was opened. I knew I had better stay in the garden for my own sake but I really wondered the outside. Nearly, since i was born i had been living in this house and i hadnt seen the outside. I made an elegant plan quickly. I couldn’t dare to go by myself and i decided to take Coco with me When i told the plan to her, she got very excited. We began to move so slowly. Nearly five minutes later we were in the street. It was so crowded that we were under shock. There were many cars. Some of them were little some of them were big. Each of them had different colour and shape and they were really very fast. Even though we were both scared, we were happy at the same time becouse for the first time in our lives, we were by ourselves. For two or three hours we walked in the huge, crowded streets. The weather was getting darker. Coco was smiling and she was talking about everything she saw. She started to annoy me and i said her to shut up. She knew i didn’t like her but she was still trying to get on well with me. While i was thinking about this, suddenly we heard a barking. We were in a little street and we couldn’t understand where the sound was coming. Both Coco and I were panting. In the darkness I saw a shadow. It was belong to a huge, black stray dog. While he was looking at us, his mouth was watering. He barked loudly again. He started to get closer to Coco. I understood that he was planing an attack. Coco was looking at me with her big eyes. I saw fear in them. That moment iI noticed that I care about her. Yes I didn’t like her but i couldn’t stand watching her while someone’s hurting her. Abruptly stray dog jumped on Coco. With a quick move I reached Coco before him. I cought her from her soft, white nape. While running from dog, I could feel his hot breath on my nape. I ran so quickly that I couldn’t see Coco’s bloody wounds. They were so deep that she was moaning with pain. One hour later, thanks to my strong instict I found our house. When Joy and Marty saw us they screamed. There were both happiness and anxiety in their voice. Susan cried so much that her eyes were red. She hugged Coco. Even if I thought I didn’t like Coco, I realized that she was one of the biggest part of my life. I hate her voice and her sassiness but at the same time I love her white smooth fur and her loveableness. After this event I understood how precious she was and I treated her like a gentleman.

With the beggining of the second term, we entered a thought schedule. this term, we'll try to connact on internet via blogs. Thanks to our reading and writing teacher Ms. Gultekin, we all created our own blogs. So that we can share our homeworks, ideas and other things we like. I think this is really beneficial. So I can see my classmates homeworks and can learnd their opinions. Besides, this week we learned how to write an opinion essay. I havent done my homework yet, but I think I got it and this type of essay, the most enjoyabe essay. see you on monday everyone, take care...
